I love the softness of this yarn and it makes great baby blankets. The color on this one isn't great. I thought it was a pale pink to red overall, but in places it has a beige tint that makes it look dull. It's a shame because otherwise it's a great yarn.

Simply recommend to a new Caron Simply Soft user that the yarn slips on the needles/hook and breaks. This is a size 4 yarn which is on the small end of the size and can actually be used as DKK in some patterns.

I love this yarn! Caron yarn is a quality yarn that is easy to work with and will hold together even if you have to unpick a piece of work and knit it again. The yarn retains its elasticity well. He's also very soft. This particular collection (speckled) is one of my favorites. I love the colored dots all over the yarn.

I bought color Abyss expecting a light green yarn with some dark green spots. In fact, it has two different colors in the form of spots: dark green and medium blue. I didn't expect that from his photos but I'm incredibly happy with him as he looks gorgeous! This would be perfect for the underwater vibe I was looking for in a yarn.

I have not embroidered with this thread but if it is similar to regular Simply Soft I would love to work with it. I started working with this yarn last night and it's really soft! It's so delicate I don't want to stop! I could sew all night if I didn't have to go to work! It will feel so good against your skin. I'm sure my girlfriend will love her Christmas present. I'm making a hat, scarf and maybe fingerless gloves for a friend who has very short hair (almost shaved) and a dog to take with me
