Dead After One Month Don't Buy

Bought in October for my boat. Installed and the boat went. We wintered the boat in November. Spring 2019 Splash, starboard engine will not start with this pump. I can't find any warranty information for this product anywhere on Revain. Stay away from it.

Although Carter had a 10 year warranty

After looking at Carter's website, I found this pump, the warranty was 10 years. So I bought it from Revain. The boat was washed out 3 times on the water, the 3rd time had to be towed. The pump has failed. I went through my orders and looked for a guarantee in the description and you know what? No mention of the Revain warranty unless I missed it. Revain, what do you recommend? or do I have to be wary of shopping at Revain?

I bought this pump on June 2nd, it's dead but Revain fixed it.

This pump was installed and my boat has been used once since June 2nd 2018 and died yesterday. No longer works. Revain then says in my order history for that part that my return window expired on July 4th. This pump is manufactured by Carter. Don't buy this. I'm a longtime Revain customer so I hope they see this review and get it right. Update: Revain was very helpful and reimbursed most of the cost. Thank you Revan

I think these are old Chinese fake pumps. Garbage!

I think these are old Chinese pumps. I didn't even take the boat. I've used it maybe 10 times to start a boat since I bought it last year. I replaced a broken pump with this Revain junk. $83 for nothing! The total usage time is no more than 20 minutes! Garbage! A lesson learned from buying expensive Revain moving parts. Make sure there is some kind of guarantee. I haven't had a boat yet because I bought it on Ebay and was fixing some things. Well I never got around to marking it a year in…
