Disappointing quality, not worth buying

Automotive enthusiasts beware, based on my observations, this fuel system component falls short of expectations. While it may be tempting to try and save a few bucks with a cheaper alternative the cons outweigh the pros. The build quality is suspect and may not last as long as other higher-priced options on the market .Consider investing in a more reliable product for peace of mind in the long run..

Ford Explorer XLT V8 5.0 2000 Refurbished

Great part for easy fuel pump replacement. All cable connections and seals are already installed on the part. Much quieter than the standard pump and happy with the price. Installation requires 13mm heads (tank guard and support bracket), 8mm (battery disconnect switch), 8mm (fuel pump bolts). Don't forget an auto parts store tool to disconnect the fuel line connection. Update: I just installed my second one. The pump was still running after ten years, but I thought the strainer was a bit…
