Review on Carter P74879S Fuel Hanger Assembly by Hunter Schneider

Great part for easy fuel pump replacement. All cable connections and seals are already installed on the part. Much quieter than the standard pump and happy with the price. Installation requires 13mm heads (tank guard and support bracket), 8mm (battery disconnect switch), 8mm (fuel pump bolts). Don't forget an auto parts store tool to disconnect the fuel line connection. Update: I just installed my second one. The pump was still running after ten years, but I thought the strainer was a bit clogged. This time I also loosened the 17mm screws at the front of the tank. Clamps on fuel filler hoses have a diameter of 6 mm. The previous pump turned out to be fine and still working. long game! (longer than OEM)
