🐎 Enhance Riding Comfort with Cashel G2 Soft Saddle Review

This saddle is very comfortable! My horse seems to like the lightness and padding. It slides like a bareback pad so I use an Aussie saddle pad underneath.

Love this saddle. Super light, very comfortable and suitable for every horse! The carrier also responds very quickly. The size is a bit off. I weigh 180 but I'm 6 feet tall. The recommended seat size was XL. Too large.

So I know this is a newer version but I wanted it to be similar to the old version. It looks more like an English saddle. The seat is higher so I sit pretty high on my horse which I don't need because it's already big. The saddle is nice and comfortable, but I didn't expect it to be that high. The rest is OK. Big.

I really like the saddle because it's treeless and light weight just like my QH. He has back problems and doesn't complain at all when I ride in the saddle. But I had to buy a breast collar when the saddle slipped on my tall emaciated boy and I'm waiting for a sticky saddle pad and neoprene girth as I now have trouble sliding side to side. I ride bareback with a suede pad more than I do with a saddle and I was hoping that the Cashe saddle would be better than my current pad but so far it has been quite disappointing. We bought this saddle hoping to help an elderly friend who is now having trouble lifting heavy western and australian trail saddles. I've been wanting to use this for a while before posting a review. I can't say enough good things about him! It feels a lot softer than a saddle but certainly more structured than a bareback pad. I have a very large touring horse and needed a lip on the back to keep me in place as well as a structured seat. I have no problem riding them in this saddle! The handle is easy to carry, take off the horse and hang it up when you feel the need. It has more attachment points for saddle pads, bags, etc.
