Made for very thin people

I was glad to get my hands on these but they just didn't fit. Bought large, returned XL, then returned XXL. STILL SMALL! I was thinking 3XL but at this point I have no hope it will fit. For reference, I'm 5'9, 178 lbs, muscular build.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons

Good for endurance cycling

Normally go one size up but average fits great (149+, 5ft 4in), ride 30-80 miles per ride. More silicone on legs than I wanted (benign rash when very hot) but ok most days. The quality is good, the pad is still acceptable, gladly blue as a replacement for the kit. Worth the money (better on sale!)

Pros
  • Rugged surface
Cons
  • Some issues

Great product, order a size up

The dungarees I received were of excellent quality; seems to have been very successful. However, they are a bit small, so it is better to order one size larger. I followed the size chart and ordered medium, but I should have ordered a larger size. . . Shorts were very tight. I love the grips, the best I've seen on cycling shorts.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Insanely small. And the suede is very short on the front.

Well made. Excellent materials. The size is small. Order 1-2 sizes larger and even then the proportions may not fit. I'm 5'10" and 175 pounds. I usually wear M. Size XL is a bit tight at Castelli. I know it's crazy The suede is great but very short in the front. to come forward If modesty is important to you I would consider an alternative brand.

Too small, especially if you are big

I'm 6 feet 2 inches tall and fair between M and L in the size table, so I chose L. It was too small. The shoulder straps roared painfully into my shoulders and my legs were so narrow that the blood circulation was interrupted and my legs were getting numb almost immediately. I have had many pairs of bibs from different manufacturers so I know what they should be like. They should be tight but not as painful as these. All other short bib brands I own are L or smaller. Size Chart. I'm not very…

Castelli Premium Cycling Gear BUT the size distorts reality terribly

So here's the thing. I wanted a set of these to solve sit bone issues I was having with my other low quality suede and spandex shorts. The upside of Castelli is that the workmanship and their suede are amazing. The edge seam of the leg ends is also excellent. The problem is the SIZE - (compared to most US athletic apparel companies) XL equals M2xL equals Large3xL equals XL now I'm a tall guy - weigh about 250 and 6'1" - my waist is 40" and the inseam is about 32" - following your instructions…

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • No instructions
