Best price for this product, will buy more!

I have been using the device for 3 months. I bought it for tests, in YouTube "CAT S62 PRO review from EX-GAD. Ru". You can see the full 30 minute review with all measurements, tests, comparisons with CAT S60, S61, S52 and answers to frequently asked questions. The video was made after 2 months of use, so most of the answers are already there. So, I left the Cat S62 Pro in my use. The crash tests did not affect the performance and reliability of the device in any way, which impressed me. Passed…

Pros
  • 1. So far, this is the only rugged smartphone with FLIR's Lepton 3.5 thermal imager. Therefore, I notice sharper edges in thermal images compared to Cat S60, Cat S61, BV 9800 Pro, BV 9900 Pro, Ulefone 9, Conquest S19, Torex FS3. It helps me to study the same microelectronics and to search for overheating in the shields, and heat loss in the house. In general, everyone can come up with a scope for themselves, I like that the boundaries have expanded with new technologies. 2. Holds a punch perfectly, threw from 1.5 meters to concrete on all sides. 3. Holds water very well. 2 meters 1 hour without consequences. 4. Holds well in minus. 3 hours at -20°C. But my previous Cat S61 did not pass this test. 5. The sizes suit me more than, but this is already a matter of taste, but for me this is a plus. 6. The build quality is beyond question. BV, Ulefone with their rugged smartphones with the previous Lepton 2.5 thermal cameras from FLIR are clearly worse built. The Conquest S19 with a thermal camera is also well assembled, but the old 2.5 module did not attract me for the same money as the Cat S62 Pro. 7. Bezglyuchnost and without brakes for my tasks.
Cons
  • 1. Price 2. For some, there may be insufficient autonomy and performance. The device is not for games. I do not need them, but for completeness of the description it should be noted. 3. The battery is non-removable, the device will have to be disassembled after 2-4 years.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

Has some pros thermal imager, bulletproof))) charging holds for a long time and is very fast, the network catches a lot of memory well, the print works well. Has cons: heats up when you turn on the music and charging navigator, except for the weight))))

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

We have been using this smart at work since autumn. The device is decent, the temperature gradient shows cool, the thermal camera settings are more than enough. But here the temperature of the forehead showed as 41 degrees, although I think 36 was as usual. The settings of the device itself are enough. Still did not like the built-in file manager. It's good that the seller put his software package, the total commander has good opportunities there. The performance is not top-end, but enough for…

Pros
  • beautiful, functional, strong, excellent heat chamber
Cons
  • price, the camera inaccurately showed the temperature of a person.

The right product for me, the price suited me.

It is important for what you take this model. If you work with a thermal imager, you will be incredibly happy. Indeed, there is an ate and they work. Everything is simple and convenient. If you take it as a photo-video, correspondence, mail, etc., you will be upset. This machine is not for that. With such a meager filling, the price for it is clearly overpriced. All the same, this is more a phone (and not a smartphone) with a thermal imager function. You decide.

Pros
  • Excellent work of the ated thermal imager. The picture is clear, the readings are accurate. Perfect build and materials. Not a single scratch while wearing without a case. The native film on the screen was practically not affected, which speaks of the quality. The sound of the external speaker is loud, without distortion at the maximum. An impeccable fingerprint scanner is 10 out of 10. And that it is located precisely at the back, and not on the side, is a clear plus. Bright diode / flashlight. Good connection. You can display several functions on the side button - for example, I have a flashlight.
Cons
  • One sim. The screen is a solid "heaven", If you increase the brightness, your eyes eat away. Reduce - dim and fuzzy. The camera is 4 years old. No stabilization. Video floats when moving (maximum 30fps). The camera and the thermal imager protrude from the body, so the case is required (and it is not easy to find). The interface is not perfect. No proprietary CAT applications installed. You need to either search or buy. In "Evidence" and "Blacks" this is already pre-installed. 660 "dragon" is frankly weak, 730 would be ideal. The size of the phone is enough to set the screen to 6.1". The battery quickly goes to zero during operation. chargers not less than 2.5A If less, every 20-30 seconds it will sound like “slow charging.” If someone needs radio and wireless charging, they are not here.

Good rugged hardened phone.

Good phone. Doesn't have 5G so it's a bit behind the times. I upgraded my Cat S61pro. He's faster and bigger. It's good. It doesn't have a laser range finder or VOC sensor, which were listed on some of the white sheets. This is very disappointing as I often use the VOC sensor on its predecessor. The transition from S61 to S62 was easy with the ATT software.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Charges cell phones very slowly

Actually discharges when plugged into a fast charger when the temperature exceeds 75F. I have to put it in the freezer for it to charge at a decent rate. It doesn't recognize my 400GB micro SD (obviously too big), the stock camera app crashes (although the aftermarket camera apps work reasonably) even though I don't have them. My favorite: when they call me it's almost impossible to pick up and after they pick up people say they can't hear me. Back to my previous smartphone.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Something Else

Cannot activate on Cricket after 01/01/2021

Cricket will not activate the North American or International version of this device on its network after 01/01/2021. By activation I mean re-activation or simply replacing an existing SIM card from an old phone with a CAT phone. I have contacted CAT support and they have told me that these phones cannot currently be activated in Cricket because they do not have VoLTE certified. So if you're looking for a rugged Cricket phone and I suspect it's on the AT&T network right now, you're out of luck.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • There are issues

Almost as close.

This phone received very good reviews except for two main features. First a list of what is very good about the phone. The fingerprint scanner fits perfectly and works very well. The single 12-megapixel camera is surprisingly good. This is comparable to Note 9 or S10. The battery seems endless. The screen resolution is outstanding. And it comes from an AMOLED user. The speaker is attached to the bottom and produces a very decent sound. Finally, the thermal imaging system is the best I've ever…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
