Bought to make decorative earring holders and accessories. They are great for adding/removing embellishments and hold light weight fabrics well. I can buy more to make some as gifts.

I really liked them. They are more for putting together a finished project than working on a project. I used a regular embroidery hoop when embroidering and transferred to this hoop to finish. It pulls very strongly, which I like. It's a rubber loop, no twist to tighten things up. It's just a little difficult to center, but not that difficult. I will buy again!

I love the look of this tire! Great price, great selection. They still don't stretch though, hence a star deduction (to be honest because it didn't say so in the description) which I personally didn't care but I had to watch my fabric it stayed in one place. I think I'll just use them to showcase finished projects and work harder in the future :) but other than that they're great.

These are great value decorative embroidery hoops. I think it's good for the price, but I missed the small decorative handle. It's not bad, but the handles are a little flimsy, so I can see how they can easily break or get lost in the packaging. They are a little tricky to open and position the nitrogen when you reattach the ring. It may be easier to sew another frame first and then switch to this one after you're done sewing.

They look really good, they look a lot better than I expected and people seem to really love it when they are embroidered. I found they can be a little tricky to use as there is no roll pin to tighten. The material may come loose/slip inside the frame, especially when you first install it. I'm concerned that it will also loosen up over time, so I usually take extra steps to sew the pocket seam along the back edge of the fabric and pull it as tight as possible.
