If you are working on a project and 7" is really important, note that this embroidery hoop is slightly smaller (6 3/4"). Otherwise they make a sturdy one and well-made impression and are a bargain for the price.

I used them for crafting and they fit great! They are well made and strong enough to hold the crafts you see I posted together. I will say that I also glued the outer ring to the inner ring once I had the fabric in place just to make sure it was secure. I even sold a few of these and everyone loved them!

The hoops are made from low density bamboo so they are not heavy or strong. Probably the most disappointing thing is that some of them aren't exactly round, meaning they have gaps in places where your fabric will slip and collect in that gap. The instep team and clamp are flimsy and will flex when you apply force. However, they are very cheap, so you can use this pack when you are giving a lesson or experimenting. However, I would never use them to display anything.

Haven't used them yet because they are too small, the size description says 7" inner diameter but that's the only way getting it to 7" involves a screw with gauge. Otherwise they seem to be pretty good quality solid wood tires. The hardware seems basic. They would update the description.

I wasn't sure if I should order embroidery hoops online especially from Revain because you never know what you're going to get but I really like them. They are much stronger than those in the store and very comparable in price. Yes, I have to spend more money at once to buy several, but since I use them all the time to make embroidery hoops, I don't mind buying a pack. I like them so much that I will buy them online again in the future and not in the store.
