I bought these frames to frame some large cross stitch designs rather than using picture frames like I usually do. I'll add some finishing touches around the frame to spice it up.

Not the smoothest finish but all parts work. I use them to showcase finished work so I don't know how they work, but for a beginner or class it's fine.

I bought them for a project. I originally bought them because they were cheaper than in store. I needed a few more than what came with this package. I went to the local craft store. After they got two tires, they got a lot better. The color is nicer. wood is stronger. The edges have a nice bevel. I ended up buying another pack of these because they look so much better. Very satisfied.

This is a 3/8 inch raw bamboo hoop with silver set screws. As for embroidery, you know that narrow frames are a bit more difficult to hold than wider ones and can tire your hands, so keep that in mind.
