Solid Wrench for Automotive Diagnostics

As an automotive technician, I was thoroughly impressed with the CDI 1502TP 1 wrench. It's the perfect tool for diagnosing issues with cars and trucks. As my tests showed, the 8 inch length and 170 inch capacity make it ideal for a variety of applications. The sleek design allowed for easy maneuverability, and the durable construction ensured long-lasting use. The only con was the slightly higher price point, but the quality of the product was worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this wrench…

Pros
  • Durable construction, ideal for automotive diagnostics
Cons
  • Higher price point

The item requires a torque tester and there is no way to adjust it.

The product requires a torque tester and the torque cannot be set to specification without a torque tester nor is there a mark on the product to set the correct torque. To adjust you have to take the cap off and use a 1/8 hex, but the brochure doesn't say how many turns = how much torque either.

Pros
  • Operator set torque
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great for the intended application.

This is a preset click torque wrench. It is designed to be set once to a specific torque value and then used in a repetitive manufacturing process or other application where the same torque is always available. Yes, that means you must have your own means of checking the set torque. It's a great tool for its purpose and it's easy to set up. The only downside for me is that its compact length can make it difficult to tighten when set to a high range, and if you value your wrist you don't want to

Pros
  • Torque range 20 to 170 in-lbs
Cons
  • Some disadvantages
