This light looks nice when it's off, but it's a different story when you flip the switch. The corrugated glass creates very concentrated streaks of light throughout the room, which we found unbearable. It made our guest room look like a disco.

The lamp is simple and beautiful. Very easy to install. Using an LED bulb similar to the one shown in the item description changed the light pattern it was emitting. Received many compliments on this lamp. Bought 2 for home.

I replaced a prettier and dimmer light fixture with this one. It is easy to install, requires no special lamps and has a large enough hole to easily replace the bulbs and clean the fixture. Best of all, in my dark hallway, as soon as we flip the switch, we can see where we're going!

Having no experience installing flush mount lights I was able to install these relatively easily in under ten minutes using an online guide. Looks great after installation! It took a few lightbulbs to find the one that looks best - I recommend yellow light over white. Adds the perfect amount of light to the bedroom and the beams look cool but not too much.

I liked the look of the lamp and was looking forward to adding a unique touch to the foyer. My biggest complaint is with the terminal block. It is not possible to connect single-core conductors to it. After I managed to connect the white solid plug, the strip detached from the base and the black wire pulled out of the lamp socket. I had to find some stranded wires and connect them to the terminal block and then screw them to the fixed connector.

When removing the old lamp, make sure the aluminum crossbar screws remain on the output box. You will need them for the new crossbar. Additionally, it comes with a plastic case that you insert electrical cords into and then secure with a jeweler's flathead screwdriver. Couldn't turn the screws with a jeweler's screwdriver, even with pliers for extra strength. I cut their wires and manually attached them to my power cords. The device is beautiful, the wife is happy. I am exhausted.

I am very happy with this purchase. It looks very elegant in my office and has a timeless look. It's not too trendy and won't be outdated in a few years. I bought a $5 ceiling medallion at a hardware store and painted it black to add some depth. Similarly, I added a dimmer to the wall and used a 60W (800 lumens) Edison LED bulb which creates the "appearance of lines" on the wall. I bought textured glass fixtures because I thought they were beautiful and classic. The light appeared quickly, but when I opened it, it wasn't the glass on top of the lamp.
