Perfect for beginners like us!

We were very impressed with this telescope. We can see the moon in detail, Mars (as a red dot) and especially the rings of Saturn. Jupiter hasn't been in the part of the sky we've tasted yet, but so far we're very pleased. My only recommendation is to upgrade your lenses if you buy this model. Kit lenses aren't very good, but they work well. Great for beginners!

find the moon and see it up close like in the books was pretty cool

Received for my son to find the stars. It's difficult to look for stars because they have to be small and easy to find. But for those who like to find the moon and see it up close like in the books, it was pretty cool. But the base is stable and solid. Just don't touch the telescope too hard, any movement can obscure the view. One has to read about the constellation to find other planets, but the price of studying stellar glazing is reasonable.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • crumpled

The Reddot Finder needs an update.

The OTA's aperture is quite small, but its light weight means good portability, and its long focal length means it's easy to get higher magnification with these eyepieces, and image quality is matched with a low- End eyepiece be quite acceptable eyepiece. So OTA is good for moon, planets, bright celestial bodies. But the built-in red dot finder and the included equatorial mount are pretty disappointing. Moon, planets and bright targets.

Pros
  • Good workmanship

Suitable for planets and moon

The scope is suitable for observing the moon and planets. The supplied eyepiece is not sufficient to observe finer details. I had to buy a 6mm eyepiece separately to get a closer look at the moon and planets. Although the view from the ground is not bad. I would recommend buying 120mm or more to have room for future expansion if needed. I've heard that a 4mm eyepiece doesn't give good images as a 76mm diameter isn't big enough for that kind of magnification. I would say 6mm is the lowest you…
