🚀 Silver Crushproof 50 Foot Vacuum Hose by Cen-Tec Systems - 91464 Review

This hose is longer than most hoses, making garage and basement floors easier to clean. It fits the Nutone Central VAC system and works perfectly.

The product is fine. I wanted the 50-foot hose to reach places I couldn't get to with the built-in vacuum, but it feels like losing too much suction power with that length. It works, but not as well as the 30ft hose I already had. Just don't expect it to pick up dog hair or it works great.

1. The hose handle has been separated from the hose several times. You have to constantly push it against the hose to keep sucking. 1a. It looks like it should be screwed onto the hose but I have yet to do it.2. The hose flexes a lot more than my previous two hoses. Although it is sturdy, it is certainly not kink-resistant.

Good fit. The hose is made of the same material as any other el-cheapo "garage" hose: it folds up when used as a vacuum, and each loop in the hose is pulled along, stopping airflow. On the other hand, the hardware is good. They will NOT fit snugly into the vacuum port. The fittings are too small but some tape to adjust the diameter of the fitting and it stays in place. The silver hose is also slightly larger in diameter than the standard orange "garage" hose, so you can't swap connectors.

Two defective hoses and the seller did not return my money. The first tube was defective, I asked for a refund and instead they sent a second tube without my permission. The second hose was also defective, tried returning it and the same problem. Still waiting for a refund for the product. The hose is poorly attached to the nozzle and is leaking air.
