If precision is important to you, this is not the tool for you. The building materials appear to be good and the tool has a weight that speaks volumes. However, I found it was about 1/16 inch off-center, which is enough to make it unusable for my project.

I used this tool to secure the dowels in my toddler's crib and it did an amazing job of centering the dowel holes in both the bed side panel and the rails easy. The 1/4" drill bushing guide was smooth and combined with the drill stop was a dream.

The product is well made and has a good weight due to the all metal construction. Pretty easy to use except I haven't figured out how to use it for face holes yet. Overall, this is a pretty good product that can definitely speed up the connection process.

Very nicely put together and saved me a lot of time on my project. The only downside is that it isn't fully tightened and has little clearance between the handle and main body connections and can therefore loosen a bit when drilling. You need to practice a few times to be more accurate. The rest is very good.

Accuracy: 0/5 Easy to Use: 2/5 There are guide marks you can line up with your marks, but here's the gold nugget: you can't see them when you start clamping the part. This small detail alone gave us a guess in the dark where to drill a hole. If that part was all that was wrong, it would still be better to hand drill and hope it lines up. But that's not all: The clamping mechanism oscillates, no matter how tightly you clamp or hold it - it moves! There's actually a lot more wrong with that, but…
