Installation

I've bought 2 of these and so far the quality of the seat itself seems good, but on installation I found the soft plastic inserts didn't fit easily into the pivot post. They don't align well and keep slipping out of the holes, which took longer than it should on an otherwise easy install. Also, the flex braces were very difficult to open and I broke my spine trying two of them. I can still use them but was disappointed that they broke.

Cheap plastic lid, noisy, poor quality control

What a PITA. My second experience of replacing a toilet seat (at 72 when my hands were weak tightening the plastic screws) only to find it has a visible lack of poor workmanship and is flimsy and cheap despite being one of the most expensive. by Raven. The lid is only plastic, which makes a cheap plastic sound when closed. I will return it as soon as I find a replacement that is closer to the solid bemis I replaced. So I have to do it all over again. What a PITA.

Quality and Made in the USA

I was very happy with the product and the installation was easy. There were minor imperfections on the outer shell but for the price I paid it was very expensive. What is made here in the States is a huge plus! I also find that most women are better at incorporating quality into the products they make than most men. Just my experience with ladies. The B-52s that are still in service should be a sign that women can do great work. After all, I married the woman who reviewed my work :) PS No, I…
