Centric Parts 141.40085 Pre-Filled Friction Caliper Review

I made sure this would fit my Civic SI 06 before purchasing. Today I go and install it and it does NOT fit. This is such a waste of time I don't have. Attention next person

Perfect fit. The only downside is that you might want to clean up. Then paint to keep it from rusting. Yes rust, got wet and after a few hours rust and minor problems. the inner seal is still good, but the outside rusts quickly, i mean overnight.

Bought brand new did not fit my car so I have started the return process. I had a baby on August 12th. I got home on August 14th and pulled it out of a box in the garage. Not used, only opened to see if new pads and discs will fit. I know it's just the surface and if I wanted to I'd probably erase it vigorously. My garage is not wet and not stored next to rust. But it was delivered quickly with no problems.

The caliper came as in the photo and was installed on a 2000 Honda Civic Ex Coupé. It came with gaskets, a new banjo bolt, 2 bolts to attach the caliper to the bracket and 2 copper washers. You will need to reuse the bracket bolts from the old brakes that attach to the steering knuckle. The size of the banjo bolt is 7/16" which is not the metric size of the original banjo bolt but that would be the only issue with this caliper that didn't bother me.
