I bought 2 DSL routers from Chommy in 2018 - the first one didn't work with my ISP, the second one has been working GREAT ever since. Chommy sent the first one back and was very happy. I bought this used unit which was advertised as "very good" condition. One of the rubber feet underneath the unit was missing, making it unbalanced. We must find a replacement for him. Bought in December to avoid monthly C-Link fees. Return within 60 days and exchange within 1 year. This gear barely hobbled to the finish line, leaving about 90 days after delivery. Ordered Actiontec C1900A but received Technicolor C2000T. I tried to plug it in anyway and the DSL light never came on. I spent 40 minutes on the phone with CenturyLink support trying to fix the error. I finally went to them to report a defective product and found that not only had they sent me a broken unit, they had sent me a bloody wrong one.

Worked well for two months then failed miserably. The good news is that Centurylink Technical Support replaced it for free. I have another model and am waiting to see how this new model works. Will fall back to cable modem if this unit fails: Had problems with internal wiring previously, was paid to have new cables run from box outside to house; still had problems - bad modem; The new modem failed after two months. More problems and he returned to internet service with a cable modem.

Great product for the most part. I would give it five stars but it loses all settings during a power outage, forcing me to change settings and lock the modem every time the power goes out. This is an inconvenience. Otherwise it does what it's supposed to and I don't have to pay a monthly modem rental.
