Suitable for cables with thin ends such as curling irons and laptops. But the alignment doesn't work well with phone chargers and the like; They compete for space. Be warned - this will NOT convert the electricity to allow a 110v hair dryer to work in Europe. If you need a converter, you'll need the more expensive options available. We were traveling in Greece and although the product worked you had to twist it to fit and stay in place while charging. The adapter can fall out of the wall if you don't put anything under it to prevent it from falling out of the socket. Pretty annoying. I bought this to keep my devices charged in Switzerland. It worked well on iPhone and iPad with a 2-pin power adapter that you then plug into a Lightning USB cable, and on my Kindle.
