Be warned - this will NOT convert the electricity to allow a 110v hair dryer to work in Europe. If you need a converter, you'll need the more expensive options available. I needed an adapter that would allow me to plug in and charge cell phone and laptop chargers while traveling in Europe. As both have their own power converters and run either 110 or 220-240 this was perfect. The fact that there were multiple outlets for US plugs was great as I was able to plug both items into one. I took an extra adapter with me because I'm trying to take spare parts with me. Overall very happy with the purchase.
