Expensive but comfortable chair with good height adjustment

Slightly more expensive but comfortable chair with good height, recline and seat adjustment. Robust construction. The negative components are the hands. Although they are adjustable for height, angle, and fore/aft position, the adjustment can be random and feels very flimsy in terms of angle, fore/aft position, and to some extent temple height. You hear a grinding noise when adjusting, and there is no clear indication of the selected angle, forward and backward position, and elevation. You have

Abstains chair is good for furniture

First a quick note that my rating is closer to a 3.5 but it doesn't. Okay, pros and cons Plus: Ridiculously easy to assemble Except for the headrest (SEE BELOW) it only takes 4 screws and about 10 minutes (15 minutes to unbox) Sleek appearance Comfortable enough once you get used to the fairly snug fit and backrest Adjustable to a variety of comfort levels Cons Price ( Yes, it's almost worth it just for the ease of assembly, but it's still an OFFICE chair) If you're used to the comfort of evenโ€ฆ

Poor packaging and assembly

(ordered directly from xchair website) I was very happy with this chair but it left a sour taste in my mouth. When I received the box, the box was damaged along with the base. Also, the bag of screws was torn and clearly leaking through the poorly sealed box, so I didn't have any screws either. I called customer service and to their credit it was easy for me to order replacement parts. However, on the second delivery, I received the replacement base, but the replacement screws were stillโ€ฆ

Comfortable, professional looking chair with lots of adjustment options. Holds up well over time.

I've seen a lot of chairs over my years. One thing I do know is that it's not just about how the chair feels the day you take it out of the box, it's also about how it feels over time. So I've deferred reviewing this X-Chair until I've had time to actually use it, break it in and see how it performs over time. I'm happy to say it's holding up great. After a year of use, it feels like it's been the day it just came out of the box. All settings work as they should. The rollers are still smoothโ€ฆ
