It's nice to have a sharp drill when you need it!

These drills appear to be good value for money! Incision and grooves to remove the waist. Haven't spent much time drilling with them yet! I bought them to stock broken stainless steel bolts in Mercedes diesel engine turbo flanges. Many reviews have said they are great for stainless steel. I will post again when they are tested to the max.

Pros
  • Jobber Drill
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Stop wasting time and money, buy decent drill bits like these!

The difference between "good" drills like this one and "cheap" drills is amazing! It took me 20 minutes to drill through a piece of steel and in the process 3 of my old drill bits were destroyed. I got angry and bought them. One hit, 45 seconds (at low rpm mind you) and I'm done. I learned something that probably every machinist already knows: you get what you pay for! Stop wasting time and money, buy good drill bits!

Pros
  • Power Tool Parts and Accessories
Cons
  • Fragile

Cuts through (almost) anything

I'm an amateur blacksmith, I've tried dozens and dozens of irons/big bits that are said to work on metal with very mixed results and even the best ones don't last long . They were recommended to me by a guy who works at a hardware store and this set was an "entry level" set that fit my budget. Let me just say I'm VERY impressed. I've been to my shop, used a different brand bit and got NOTHING, switched to them and it cuts like clockwork. The drill broke off - he tried, but destroyed this drill.

Pros
  • Power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • Big and bulky
