If you go up the size I'm 5ft 1in and 125lbs. According to the sizing chart I should be medium (I have a 29 inch waist). and hips 36 inches), but as I'm at an age where most of the fat has shifted to my stomach, I ordered the larger ones and they fit perfectly. I still have an old model from Champion and they are big too. I really like this new cut with a wider waist band. This is a much more flattering cut and I'll probably order another pair.

I bought these for running. I'm 5ft 6in 150 and bought the medium ones. I see other women of the same size buying the large ones and I don't feel like that my body shape is remarkable compared to the size but I'm sure the large would be too big for me.The mids are a little loose at the waist compared to the hips but they stay in place as I run (3 miles 3/4 times a week) My tag is peeling off too but I don't mind that I dry my running clothes and feel like it makes them last longer.

I was delighted to try these shorts on to find that they fit perfectly and are very comfortable! You passed the squat test and everything! Unlike all other shorts, they stayed in place and I didn't have to adjust them. Two stars for that. Well I washed them ONCE and all of a sudden the top seam around the waist completely unraveled. I wash them like any other clothing. Nothing spicy. I am very disappointed with this as I LOVED these shorts and wanted to buy more pairs for each day of the week!
