Well made and extremely useful

This set replaces a whole box of other sockets 95% of the time, with the benefit of being able to use long handles if required. The quality is high and meets expectations. Yes, it's Taiwan, not the US, but Taiwan makes quality stuff these days. If the manufacturer is reading this, it would be nice if the kit also included a non-ratcheting breaker suitable for outlets.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Nothing

Save time on hand tools

Saved me an hour of work when I normally use a shovel wrench or adjustable wrench. But I usually deal with rusty and sticky sink faucets. The nuts are small and sometimes the kitchen sink wrench can't catch and loosen a badly corroded nut. With this tool I can loosen the nut and remove it more easily. The only downside is sometimes there isn't enough room to turn the ratchet, but I always loosen the nut anyway.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Great design and functionality

Purchased primarily for use in the automotive industry (tightening/loosening the top ends of the struts) but it also works very well in places where you need a low profile ratchet and socket . The sockets fit a variety of nut/bolt heads, which is nice. But if you really need to loosen a larger bolt/nut (17mm or larger), you'll need your trusty 1/2" tool. Comes with an extension cord and 3/8" adapter for when you need to quickly replace traditional outlets. Totally worth keeping in the tool boxโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Upgrades

Good set, good value for money

Exactly what I needed. If you install A-pillars on your vehicle, you will need these through sockets. When you tighten the upper strut nut with the long socket, the strut shaft also rotates. I used a 22mm thru-socket with a ratchet wrench, the top of the post rod goes through the 22mm socket. This allows the use of a 9mm socket and wrench. A 9mm socket wrench prevents the strut rod from rotating, allowing the strut nut to be tightened to 22mm to the specified torque.

Pros
  • Deep Access Socket Extension
Cons
  • Available in white only

Ok not good for power and hand tools

After using this wrench to change the struts on my GTI, my Verdict: for some things are fine, others not so much. Bad - when trying to remove the top of the strut the ratchet slipped off trying to loosen the nut which is why I bought this particular item. It could not handle the high torque required. But even after slipping, it still held nuts with more modest torque. On the plus side, the bushings mount in the key, creating a low profile that may be required in some tricky situations. . And Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 13 sockets fits 26 SAE and metric sizes and 47 fastener sizes total
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Suitable for small repair and assembly work.

. For basic home repairs and a little backyard mechanic's kit, this is probably the only socket set most people will ever need. Simple and organized. However, it certainly has its limitations compared to a much larger tool kit, but for me it's the perfect solution and I've decided to get rid of some of my old ratchet nuts and wrenches because I'm tired of them being disorganized. The pass-through feature means you probably won't need a deep socket in most household situations. If you do a lotโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Unique see-through socket and ratchet design for exceptional versatility.
Cons
  • Something else
