Favorite Made in America

I've been buying channellock tools for a long time. I needed some torx sockets and this little screwdriver for my tool kit and was pleasantly surprised to see the channellock versions here. I don't always buy US made stuff, but when it's available I check it out first.

Pros
  • Heat treated alloy steel blade
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Reinforced XXL handle

Got it. I was happy to get an American made screwdriver now that the Craftsman is made in China. I use an 8" flathead screwdriver every day. The handle on this screwdriver is literally double if not triple the size of the Craftsman. A strong product that works as advertised but not quite to my liking. But if that's it what you are looking for; look no further

Pros
  • Precision machined steam jet tip for a precise fit
Cons
  • Legacy model

Poor quality mechanical and hand tools

I bought 2 of these last summer to adjust my sprinkler nozzles. On first use, one cracked and the other twisted trying to adjust a simple screw in the sprinkler head. I pulled out my old screwdriver and it did the job with no problems. The material used on it does not correspond to the main tasks. Not worth the time and money to return them, they went straight in the trash!

Pros
  • High torque acetate handle for superior strength and solvent resistance
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
