Edit: I always like to be honest in my reviews. I took these pencils and compared them to a regular #2 pencil. As advertised, they are larger than standard pencils. I've attached some photos so you can see the comparison for yourself. They were no different from ordinary pencils, except that they were shorter and didn't have an eraser. Do yourself a favor and shop for pencil tips here at Revain and get 5x more product for less.

I used to homeschool young children and it completely changed the game. I can't even tell you how ridiculous it is to use a regular pencil for a four year old who REALLY REALLY wants to write but keeps breaking the tips and then burning through the tiny eraser of a standard pencil. found them surprisingly useful around the house, especially for home renovations/small joinery jobs. Buy them - you won't regret it. As a side note - I checked their price and they are only pennies different in price

The mine is too light and I can't see what my children have written. They need softer lead so they can be used on my kids. That's very bad because those are the pencils my first year picks up. He is left-handed and in first grade. My other kid who uses them is in 3rd grade and right handed. Well now I see they have newer ones with erasers that should be darker. I'll try to update my review when I see what my kids write. To update! New pens write darker! Kids don't always apply enough pressure…
