Every artist needs them.

My teenage daughter draws a lot of art with charcoal and they were perfect for her on black paper. White comes into its own very well. Record delivery on time: thanks to the seller and Revain.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • It's OK

Good for marking the subfloor and the finished walnut floor I did. I tried to use a pencil but it was missing and most likely ended up under the panel for my grandson to find while walking around the floor. It was too much Sharpe so it was a good dampening and wiping solution when I didn't want to sand it.

Pros
  • 6mm core gives you true creative freedom and ultimate feel, easy to use and no fear of broken core!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

A normal hand sharpener is not suitable for these materials.

As soon as I opened the crayons from the packaging, one of them fell on the floor and the tip of the chalk snapped off immediately. Also, these things are pretty thick and a regular hand sharpener would be too small for them. Therefore, you need to buy a sharpener designed for these specific charcoal pencils if you plan to use them every day.

Pros
  • High quality white pigment, non-toxic, conforms to ASTMD-4236 and EN710, Detailed work or quick sketches; Easy to mix and match, suitable for use with black paper journals, charcoal and graphite objects.
Cons
  • No version

Works, but you'll need a large sharpener.

I was a little hesitant to buy this product at first and maybe I should have, but it does the job. If anyone is interested in getting them just know that the pencils are quite thick and the charcoal is hard (feels like a 2 hour pencil), sometimes I had to press down to get parts of the white charcoal to draw. The pencil isn't bad, it works, but you have to sharpen it by hand with a larger sharpener or with a knife.

Pros
  • Can be used alone or to accent black charcoal sketches. Dainayw White Charcoal Pencils ensure an even application of color with a clean and controlled pen.
Cons
  • Out of fashion
