When my parents and I were faced with dead cell phone batteries during the blackout caused by Hurricane Irma, it was very scary not being able to communicate with anyone until the streets were clean enough for my son-in-law come here to check on us. I can't drive so didn't think about having one on hand but it's a mistake I won't make again so I bought them asap so my parents can have one in each car . They are very cute and work well.

2 packs. The first was immediately defective and appears to be broken. I plugged it into my car and the light came on for a few seconds and then went off. I pulled it out and the spring loaded pin on the end got stuck in the plastic. I moved the charge and the metal rattled free in the plastic and occasionally crept out of the hole. It also felt hot. I tested the other charger that came in the box and the tip was very unstable. waste of money

This device makes a solid impression. Heavier than a store charger and has a textured metal shell that you can grab to plug and unplug. And I love the LED indicator that tells you it's on. It seems to charge well when a phone is connected. But when two phones are plugged in (including my wife's thirsty Android), charging is much slower regardless of whether you're plugged into a high or low wattage outlet. So it's a mixed bag. I was delighted with the offer on this product and the look of the charger. I bought it because I always needed two charges, not one thing. That being said, I've had it for about 3 months and have sometimes charged two things at once on the way to work. I finally thought it had stopped working and tested it on my friend's machine and found that it still worked. Well what can I say, attractive but not the best charger I've used. It's really nice and matches my dash so I was hoping it would work better than it does now. I mean it works great and does its job, it just doesn't have that much juice. Barely puts out enough power to keep my phone charged. I use it in conjunction with a Bluetooth device, so one of the sockets charges the Bluetooth device and the other charges my phone. And it just doesn't dispense much juice. This is normal. It came with (2), which is good because the first one went bad very quickly. It kept popping out of the cigarette lighter in my car (the front one). I bought these chargers because they were almost identical to another brand of chargers I have and it was one of my best chargers. So when I found these two $8 packages with 2.4/1.0 ports, I couldn't get past them. I just received them today. They seem durable and not cheap, and I like the blue LED.
