To be honest I have to give 5 stars for the construction and stability. However, in my case I have an Xterra and the cup holders are too far from the console to set it up for a good view. No, if I had that in my 2004 Chevy it would be perfect. It all depends on what vehicle you're using it on.

I've tried most mounting adapters including the vent and CD but they all didn't come with a Nuvi adapter that was the right size for the included ball and socket. I have a Nuvi 2689 Garmin and this unit mounts in a cup holder with a lever that is strong enough but flexible enough to flex into a position far enough away from the movement of the switch. I'm glad this problem got solved for me as this has been a sore point for a while when traveling long distances. 100% satisfied!

Nothing special. I would give 2.5 stars. The base works well and attaches easily and securely to the cup holder in my 2015 RAV4. The ball connector also attaches securely and grips the GPS connector for a proper and tight fit. But the gooseneck on this mount is way too springy and springy. The Garmin Nuvi 2689LMT bounces and vibrates too much to be useful even on slick roads at low speeds. The small screen jumps, very difficult to read. I cannot recommend this mount.
