I've had them for a year and a half now. I usually use the medium size. I was just using the small one for a small batch of rice and one of the handles fell off. Before that I loved her. I hope the handles stay with others. They are made of solid steel.

As the title suggests, rust near my handles. So be aware. UPDATE: The seller contacted and explained the possible cause of the rust. Even if it is stainless steel, it still needs to be cared for. Keep it dry and you can try to remove the rust with vinegar. It was excellent customer service from them.

Love these strainers! They're simple, durable, and very similar to what a professional chef would use. In fact, I work at a cooking school and they are very similar to our chefs. I can use it to wash rice in a rice cooker and it doesn't need a special sieve. A wonderful set that any chef will love!

Because my girlfriend insists on running my.now. Kitchen, she didn't really like my usual plastic colander. It was discolored and impossible to keep clean so it was decided it was time to buy a quality metal filter set and this set worked great. We were expecting some cheap, flimsy, poorly made screens but were pleasantly surprised by their very good quality, good looks and ease of cleaning. Arrived well packaged and quickly. Very satisfied.

They work well, are easy to clean and lightweight. I really wish the metal was thicker and the bowl and rim were one piece. The rim keeps water and possible food debris where you can't clean or wash it off. It takes a good bleach bath to really disinfect it. They seem to stamp the bowl, then press the rim against it, butt weld the handles and bottom post, and say it's done. Generally an economical set but not professional or heavy duty.

I love them for sifting spaghetti. I highly recommend wiping with a cloth after hand washing, especially under the rim to ensure no water gets under the rim. Again, you have to be smart with the SS class. This is not a surgical SS that is bulletproof! If you made it out of 440 it would be $125! The reason for my comment is that some of the reviewers were disappointed that the devices were prone to rusting. Again, different grades of SS have different levels of corrosion resistance. Put in the dishwasher upon receipt and only 1 (medium) rusted around the edge. I could hand wash most of it, but if I wanted to hand wash it I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher. These micro perforated strainers do a really good job of draining the water quickly rather than waiting a while like other strainers. Wash vegetables, herbs, fruit, pasta and more in no time. Also tried tapioca pearls and it washes off very well, removing the starch and keeping the pearls nice in a short time. Shape and dimensions are perfect for our needs.
