3 cups? is this a joke?

I think they sent me a very small version, not the 3 cup version. Or maybe the cups Chemex is referring to are somehow tiny espresso cups despite being an infuser coffee maker? I lost my chemex on the break but somehow ended up with the filters. I ordered this to replace an old one and as other reviewers say it sticks out so much on this version it barely leaves room for water so you have to stand in front and pour water to do it. Which for me pretty much defeats the purpose of owning it. I'm…

My favorite coffee machine, no question.

There is no one right way to make coffee; everyone has their own needs and tastes. However, if you "like coffee" made from capsules, you're missing out and I'm excited to greatly improve your coffee drinking experience. Skip mugs, pods, or whatever you use to make 1-2 cups of coffee because you'll miss out on all the delicious flavors and subtleties of what good coffee looks like. Get a Chemex, buy freshly roasted whole beans (if they don't have a roast date, they're not fresh) and use filtered

Warning - VERY low capacity is also non-refundable

First of all, be careful when you buy this product. I accidentally bought it from one of the "authorized" resellers and cannot be refunded. There isn't even a way to report damage and it doesn't seem to fall under Revain AZ's policies. Very misleading as none of this was revealed on the product or order pages. Second, I wanted to return this because I didn't realize the "cup" for this item was 5 oz. I've heard of 6 ounce cups and regular 8 ounce cups, but never 5 ounce cups. That means 3 "cups"

Chemex perfect size for one person

I used to have a standard size Chemex and a large double wall French Press which I also really like. But I was looking for an easy and attractive way when I'm just making coffee for myself. I recently switched to decaffeinated coffee for medical reasons, but I still like the taste of coffee, my partner still prefers regular caffeinated coffee, so going with a smaller coffee maker made sense for me. This Chemex is the perfect solution for that - it makes about 1.5 standard coffee cups. Filled…

Beautiful to look at, but difficult to use and clean.

Beautiful set. Classic modern design. But not very functional. Let's start with filters. I knew I was supposed to fold them when I ordered them, but I have to fold them small enough to only leave room for coffee grounds. I have to stand over the coffee maker and slowly pour in the water so it doesn't overflow. When I'm done, the coffee will be cold. Making just 2 cups of coffee is a chore. Chemex makes filters, but even those seem to stack. Cleaning: Again, great design, but the neck of the…

I used to hate coffee, I've changed.

Okay, let's finish with a little background. I am 32 years old and have hated coffee all my life. Obviously, I've always had bad coffee, and the only form of brewing I've ever known is drip can and kurig. I was in Italy on a recent business trip (awful I know) and thought hey, let's try some coffee. Why? I'm open, especially when it comes to food and drink. So let's give coffee another chance. I spent about a week surveying coffee drinkers at work about brewing, types of beans, etc. I decided…
