I bought this kit for two black trucks that I have. The S10 is the guinea pig for all things colour. What I did was go to the chemist's YouTube and watch their videos along with Junkman2000. Learn everything you can before you jump right in. I've never done this before and I feel like my results are the best 14 year old daily ride paint you can get. Love these polishing pads. It will take some time before you become familiar with the meaning of each color. I just decided to use a marker and write on the side of the velcro what the intended use of each color is. The hook and loop base is strong yet flexible and holds pressure well. The design is cool too, I wouldn't say it helps save time but it doesn't hurt either. I think it helps keep your sealers, polishes and waxes in place so you don't have to wring them out again. Great starter kit with everything you need to start polishing. As for the quality of the pad, the foam itself doesn't differ much between the most popular brands, as far as I know the foam itself is made by the same manufacturer. It's less clear who makes the foam backing at the manufacturer, so there may be differences between brands. The quality is good and sufficient for the average Joe/Jane.
