Leaking car care bottle

I didn't like that half of the product leaked out of the plastic bottle. This seems to be a common theme when ordering CG products from Revain, at least for me. However, the product works very well. Doesn't smear but dries fairly quickly. My advice, if you're into CG products, just order them on the site if you're not in a hurry.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Disappear

Use correct applicator

Use correct applicator (tire foam applicator) for best results. Be sure to clean the wheels/tires and apply a thin coat before use as this will not last long. . After application, wait a few minutes and walk to avoid running stitches etc. About 30 minutes for complete "drying" and done. Does not fly off the tire like other tire care products and does not get on the paintwork.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Something else

Best black restorer I've ever had

I originally bought this for my tires. I know it can really shine with more applications but I like a more matte finish. It also works well on all other black trim on the car. I bought a tire sponge applicator and it gets the job done much quicker with less product wastage. I use it every few car washes, sometimes I really don't need it, but it's so easy I do it anyway.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • unsure

CG Missed on this one

I'm a fan of most Chemical Guys products. However, this is a waste of money. I bought a gallon of this based on my experience with several other options in the Chemical Guys line. It doesn't have nearly the "shininess" that is advertised. It doesn't happen evenly. I had to re-apply several times to at least say it was included. If I had checked it within my return period I would have sent it back. In any case. I should have just flushed my $60 down the toilet instead of buying this product.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • I don't really like anything everything is fine

Sorry folks, chemists. I love your products but I have to say this product is rubbish. The shine is not permanent and the application is almost never even. I have a lot of experience in car detailing and cannot recommend this product. On the other hand, I highly recommend G6 Hypercoat Protective Dressing Chemicals. This product holds and also maintains that shine without fading. Use a microfiber applicator to spray product on and rub into rubber or plastic you are restoring. I can also add that

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Tested by Toyo M/T it's easier than using a seal

I used other CG tires for the tires but they had to have a seal for the applicator and worse a ton flew still gone after that. So it stays pretty even with the spray, and that's all the tiny spaces of the Toyo M/T tire. I recommend putting it on at the very end of a wash, even after you've finished driving. Not too many buns, but better if he has time to sit for a while before heading out.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
