Strange colors unique to these random bags.

Each pack comes with a set of random dice that work but have optical imperfections that prevent them from matching with a normal set of dice. This means you get cool color combinations not found in the regular set. I've bought about 5 of these bags over the past few years and have noticed a few patterns. They typically contain less D4 than other die types and more D20 than other die types. There are often one to four dice of the same type, color and pattern. Of the 5 bags I bought, one had 5…

Know what to expect.

Really great stuff for a dice goblin like me. Whether you get your money's worth depends on what you expect. Most often, the bones are malformed. This makes sense as these cubes sit unsold in storage. However, each of the dice rolls well. If you need a lot of dice or just want more dice than you'll ever need, this is a good thing to buy. Despite the ugliness, there are plenty of fun looking dice out there, and some of them even look pretty neat. Out of the two bags I bought I only received one…

A bunch of cheap dice!

I play D&D 5e every Wednesday night so I've wanted some extra dice for a long time. Saw this at Revain and for the amount of dice you get for the price it was a great deal! As soon as the package arrived (Sunday, Wahoo Prime!) Here's what I got. Also came with a full set of seven dice (as advertised). It was in a separate envelope so I didn't have to look for it. All dice are in excellent condition except for one of the d20s. It's slightly larger than the others, but the numbers aren't covered…

Like many people here

Like many people here I was torn between the Wiz Dice Series II 100+ Random Polyhedral Dice Set - 15 guaranteed random color sets and Pound-O-Dice. So I did the only sensible thing and bought both. And it wasn't a mistake. This wiz set contains 15 completely identical sets of high-quality dice. But Pound-O-Dice provides the necessary chaos to balance the Wiz Dice's perfect uniformity. There were NO broken or damaged dice in this pack and it was a great balance of dice types. My only complaint…

All dice arrived in great condition with a decent mix of types and colors

I ordered this set to use primarily as math dice. My just 7 year old son loved sorting and labeling the cubes and choosing his favourite. The bag (with a few extra snack-size zippers) weighed 17.0 ounces, so I'd expect the bones themselves to weigh a little over a pound. As you can see from the photos, the combination of the dice was decent, with a number of duplicates being one-sided or near-identical models. For some, this might be an advantage, but for those looking for a truly random and…

Large selection and choice of colors

03/23/2019 - This is my third time buying them. They only get better if I buy them. 105 dice incl. guaranteed set (blue with blue dots). 8 Swirls, 5 Glitters, 8 Metallics (1 Solid/7 Swirls), 11 Solids, 39 Dots, 14 Sheers, 11 Halfs, 1 Matte and 1 Zodiac Cube. (18/d6) 3 dotted, 15s #'s-8/d4-22/d10-6/d%-16/d8-13/d12-15/d20 Update, just bought a second set. Even happier with my second set than the one I bought 1 1/2 years ago. 99 dice including my guaranteed 7 piece blue dotted dice set. (20) D20…

Ugly, meager assortment: game accessories

I knew these would be in stock. I was excited to sort through them and hunt for 'treasures' with my kids just like we did with the d6 pound. I chose this bag over Wiz Dice for something extra or a few handpicked sets so we can enjoy sorting and assembling our own unique sets. Also, it's Chessex, so I knew it was going to be decent. From the bulleted list: - Customize your games with your personal set of dice - Dice come in all types, styles and colors. This is a big disappointment. It's an…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Here is some information I would think is valuable before purchasing: First, this is the second factory matrix - get your expectations right. That means a lot of things, but I understand that these are chessex dice that failed QC and/or are redundant: QC deficiencies include: The damage obviously shouldn't be significant or take up much of the set since it is sold retail. I chose the Chessex Pound-O-Dice because it looked more interesting (smoky, speckled) than the competition) and also because
