I need the 25mm crochet hook I have super chunky ones yarn used. The pattern involves the use of a large hook. ChiaoGoo's bamboo hook works great. I'll admit I felt awkward and difficult using such a large hook, but dwelled on it long enough to feel comfortable. Dimensions: U - hook size 25 mm. Circumference 1/8 inch. It is well polished and very smooth. It has a pointed tip that makes it easy to attach stitches. It has cutouts on the "handle" making it lighter and less bulky.

This hook looks beautiful and fits perfectly in the hand. It's not hard at all, which in itself lessens the burden of that aspect. The wood is smooth, without roughness, which makes it possible to catch yarn or roving. There is a recess for the thumb as well as one on the other side for gripping the hand.
