I did not check all the needles in the set immediately upon receipt, so the goods were out of the exchange/return date. When I screwed the grommets onto the cable, I found that one of the needles in the size 3 3" pair had no threads to screw into the cables - it was smooth. See closeup photo. Also, the 2 inch needles are so short that my hands become uncomfortable using them for long periods of time (I typically knit 4-8 hours at a time).
