ChiaoGoo Needle Tips 4 inch (10cm) for Twist Red Lace Interchangeable Set - Size US 2.5 (3mm) - High-Quality Craft Needles Review

I needed these #2.5 needles for a trial knit I'm working on so I was so happy to find them here with Prime delivery *phew* 😂 I was happy to buy these as my husband recently bought a full 4" Chiagoo interchangeable set and now I find it really full! This size is very comfortable although not commonly used in American knitting patterns.

As a fan of ChiaoGoo Twist Red I had to buy some of these needle laces. Before that I knitted almost exclusively with wooden knitting needles, so I was skeptical about metal knitting needles. I did not have to. They are a pleasure to work with, they glide nicely over the yarn and they are much quieter than I would expect from metal knitting needles. I'm now adding more sizes to my small collection as I find these are the needles I keep reaching for when it's time for me to tackle a new project.

But often socks that call for a US 1.5 or 2, where I would have to use a US 3 needle, ended up being too big for that size 3. However, this US 2.5 was ideal for closing the gauge on the smaller needles to get. I'm glad Chiaogoo has other sizes that aren't necessarily common or easy to find in the US, and the tips are nice and sharp for finer yarns.
