Okay, I figured out what to do with it and how to use it.

I've seen conflicting reviews about this and now I can tell you why. When I first got them I would give them one star because I had the same problem as many people. The problem was that the tortillas didn't fold completely along the curves and when heated in the oven they fall off and slip between the crevices. This thing seemed useless. But then I experimented and figured out what needs to be done to make them work. The instructions I read about "steaming" the flatbreads weren't enough. Youโ€ฆ

I Have My Baking Method Down

Bought three baskets to make 12 taco shells at once. Extremely well made shelves that will last a lifetime with a little care. They take up a lot of disk space but have free space. Before purchasing baking grids, I flat baked corn tortillas for about 10 years, so I have a lot of experience. They can be very dry and tasteless. After years of experimenting, here's what I make for cooking. Spray uncooked tortillas with some vegetable oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt (optional, mostly forโ€ฆ

Corn tortillas are easily turned into taco shells!

I wanted this item to make corn tortilla taco bowls. They are very low in sodium and I can no longer eat starchy foods because of their sodium content. Corn tortillas are best used when they are at room temperature. I tear two paper towels off the roll, leave them connected, dampen with water and squeeze lightly. Then I lay out the paper towels like an open book and cover a small plate with a paper towel. I fold four yellow corn tortillas in half and fold a second paper towel over the top ofโ€ฆ
