It stays in place: Skate

I ordered this to fit in my shorts for extra protection for the tailbone. And stays in place. It looks a bit weird, but the feeling of being safe while riding is what counts.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great it would be nice if it was bigger

They work great! Every time I practice jumping I hurt myself by falling and that has saved me from further injury. Too bad I fall on both sides of my back so I need two of these but they work as advertised.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Upgradable

Very thick padding, excellent density

Very thick padding. I used it for inline skating to protect my tailbone from a possible fall. I'm 239 pounds and 5ft 3ft right out of the box, I knew this would protect my tailbone. The padding is so dense that I can hardly push it down with both hands. I have high hopes for this protector.

Ideal for roller derby.

For roller derby. It's a little thicker, but that gives it excellent coverage. I tuck it in between leggings and underwear and it stays in place. It'll be hot, but so will other protective gear, so nothing new. Definitely recommend if you don't wear padded shorts and want to protect your tailbone.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Crumpled

The perfect padding to protect your tailbone!

Purchased after I "slipped on a banana peel" on my new inline skates. I fell hard on my lower back/tailbone and could really hurt myself. You can just slide it into the back of your pants and get started. It makes you sweat where it touches the skin so I buy a cloth bag to put it on and now it doesn't sweat anymore!

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • boring packaging

If you are a skater you will fall!

Anyone who has ever skated has fallen. If you took classes, you were taught how to fall and how to get up. No matter how good you are, you will still fall from time to time. Nothing hurts and hurts for as long as falling on your tailbone. I've been skating for several decades, so I feel pretty confident on the ice, but I've only recently started skating. Although they are similar, they are different! After a sudden hard fall on my butt, I decided to take whatever precautions I could to ease the
