Better than expected. I wanted to route the power cable to the front instead of using the rear light. The red wires on both ends made this a lot easier than running a separate wire. I didn't understand what was there and what it was for until I got it.

Works great with our rear view camera! The 20ft length that came with the rear camera was not enough for our 18-19ft van. By adding this cable to the original 20 feet, I was able to easily hide the cable and tuck about four feet of additional cable behind a panel next to the tailgate.

This cable was needed to install my rear view camera. What comes with the camera is never enough. It's well built and durable, so I know it will withstand the elements beneath my F-250. Take your time and do yourself a big favor and buy this product. This saves you the headache of installation.

Great concept. Many different ways to connect a reversing camera. I took power from one of my taillights to power my camera. I then used this to connect to the same cable. That keeps me from looking for a return wire in the wiring harness. I'd rather splice the wiring harness for the tail light than the under dash wiring harness.

This cable worked well but was too short for my application. I have a small GM SUV with a license plate in the back door. I had to add an extension for the last 18 inches needed. Six meters is about 18 1/2 feet, so a 20 foot cable would be ideal. The red wire goes to the red (power) wire and the black (if present) to ground. You must run a separate cable from the power return line to turn on the camera.

Item as described. Initially I used another set with a wireless camera, but after a month it failed. And when plugged in the other way, it only worked in the opposite direction. With this setup I was able to leave the camera on until Es and just press the button on the main unit and see the tail in detail and clearly. No snow like with the wireless kit. This cable was worth the wait in gold for everything to work and work well

Works great. I tried the wireless option and there was too much interference so I decided to buy one to extend the video cable and just run it through the back. Works perfectly. Also, it allowed me to route the red wire for the reversing monitor power signal back to the taillight assembly as I couldn't find the correct wire on the front of the car. After 2 months of use it works perfectly.

When I was installing a backup camera on my Honda Fit I got to the point where I couldn't connect the RCA connector to the sunroof through the cable hose so I cut it off . To my surprise, the RCA cable was not shielded. Well I brought this cable with me because I put the backup camera on another car and it had a third cable.
