🔍 CIPA 10950 Custom Towing Mirror for Chevrolet/GMC - Pair, Black Review

Nice fit and finish on the mirror. Fits directly onto the factory mirrors making them easy to install and remove. These mirrors, together with the factory mirrors, ensure a good view behind my caravan. The passenger side convex mirror took some time to adjust to give the best view behind the trailer. (A second person could help with assembly.)

The driver's side mirror is great and allows me to see the cars behind my trailer. The passenger side is of no use to me so I stopped using it. Although they include a small piece of foam tape to prevent scratches, it's not enough to cover the entire friction area. Even if it were, dirt and grit could get in and scratch the mirror upon removal. To prevent this, I put a clear protective film on my truck mirror.

Fits and works perfectly on our 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. Drove at 75 mph and the mirrors stayed in place, no vibration. It can be easily adjusted and while we didn't have our trailer hitched I'm pretty sure it will allow us to see in the way we want for safe towing. (We had the same brand of tow mirrors on our 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 Extended Cab and they have worked great for years.) I am very pleased. Also quick delivery in a very good box.

Great fit. Carry a bag to store the slider in the adjustment and mounting screw (or keep the box it came in). The last pair of CIPA mirrors I had (for an old truck) left the adjustment and screws attached to the mirrors. Driven about 100 km so far, no complaints. They remain rigid during transport and provide a clear view of what is behind/next to you when towing. I like the ease of installation and the value for money. I almost went with a custom tow mirror upgrade stud, but I only plan on towing on the weekends and a couple of weeks in the summer. I like the look and functionality of my stock mirrors under normal driving conditions. It gives me functionality at a lower cost and allows me to eat my cake and have it too. The product met my needs for improved visibility when towing a fifth wheel. Once installed (I must confess I had to watch videos online as the installation guide wasn't entirely clear to me) the mirrors stay on and are not associated with wind noise. This is a must have if you tow a half ton truck. Perfect fit for my 2015 GMC Sierra All Terrain. Installation was very easy and gives a better view of the underside of the van.
