Golden one-piece tips, many of which vibrate rhythmically, are lovingly smeared with machine oil.

Media could not be loaded. Before I peeled off the cellophane, I could see the perfect arc of the 1/16-inch drill bit, but I deferred closer examination until I had dunked the entire group in an acetone bath to greet them and brighten their shine on the long journey that my hands slippery with oil and the occasional metal shavings, I then ran each one into the chuck of my variable speed cordless drill to see first hand their talented dance and spin in many 1/16 and 1/1 scale sizes. 2 in 1/2โ€ฆ

Developed for softer metals. I use it for wood.

I bought a Sears Craftsman drill bit set with a large set of similar drill bits and it cost me twice as much as this set but they have lasted me for many years and apart from the ones I've lost they still work flawlessly . i miss the ones i miss So this set came in a variety of sizes, and at that price point, I picked it up without hesitation. The drills feel very sharp and hold well in wood. Every time I see a titanium coating there is an immediate warning that it is coated to compensate forโ€ฆ

Lightweight 29-piece SAE drill set in a metal box with pointers; TiN Coated Bits

If I want to use my DeWalt drill I need a really good quality drill that will cut the hole with no difficulty. These are medium quality bits, 29 in an index box (Figure 1). I didn't like that the box is open exposing bits even when the box is closed. I also didn't like that the bit sections didn't move or fold when opened, making it difficult to grasp the size I want to use. I have found that these bits are made from high speed steel coated with titanium nitride which slightly improvesโ€ฆ
