Works great in computers and accessories

For some reason my cable connection recently dropped. (The connection was via LAN on the mainboard). I tried my wife's wifi card and it worked great so I ordered this for myself. I installed the software from the CD, inserted the memory card and everything works fine now. Granted, I'm only four feet from my wireless router, but my speed is 135 Mbps. No problem.

Pros
  • Finally bought it

  • Some cons

Do not believe the negative reviews

The negative reviews are not true about this product. The people who gave bad review have no idea how to install, set up or use this product. no effect on functionality. Cisco has an excellent reputation in the professional networking industry and ALL Cisco products work perfectly as long as you set them up, use and install them correctly. When purchasing this device, be sure to read the supplied instructions. and you should be fine.

very satisfied: network adapter

I've been using this adapter since February 2009 in combination with a Linksys WRT110 RangePlus wireless router and am very satisfied with the performance. A reviewer pointed out problems when using it on Windows XP SP3. I've used this with XP Pro SP3 on my Thinkpad T60p with no problems. I found that my built in wireless adapter became unreliable after SP3 and this adapter solved all my problems. I recently bought a second adapter for my XP Pro 64 home desktop with no problems (so far)…

Pros
  • nice packaging
Cons
  • can't remember
