    Works best in tires and wheels

    The easy way to replace a Schrader valve stem. Slip the threaded end of the valve through the hole in the rim, thread the end of the tool onto the valve stem, using the rim as a fulcrum, squeeze the lever and voila, you have a valve seat with the threads intact.

    didn't work on my 2013 FLHTC wheels

    Bought this for my 2013 FLHTC and it doesn't work in any way with the turbine wheels that come on these bikes. I'll keep it, but it's very well done and should work on something I need someday. For the price this is a good tool for a toolbox

    bam! It's in. - Accessories and parts

    When I received this tool, I immediately thought it was too much for my task. Installing the stem took about ten seconds total. Looking back, there was one task less. The valve stem assembly tool practically does all the work by itself. I don't get to use it very often, but when I do it will be the quickest part of the job.

    Disassembled for accessories and parts

    This tool should be great. It consists of just three parts: a handle, a bushing that threads onto the valve stem, and a pin that connects the bushing to the handle. The problem is that the stylus is not attached to the grip in any way, so the first time you use it, the socket slips off the grip and the stylus flies in an unknown direction. I am very disappointed that such a simple tool can fail so completely.

    My pliers are gone.

    I use this every blue moon. But it is necessary to install new valve stems in my garden equipment tires. I've read reviews and it looks like it has an issue with the head retention pin failing over time. So I took a chisel and made cuts on each side. Problem solved. If you have a tire shop, you'll have to spend a few more dollars per user. Just put in 4 fresh sticks today and without them it would be a day of fun breaking rubber and threads with pliers. A must have for anyone doing it…

    Integrated grooved plastic cup protects the rim when pulling the rotary valve stem at an angle

    With the integrated plastic cup I didn't have to worry about scratching the rim when using leverage to install the valve root. The plastic shell also has multiple GROOVES so that valve stems with Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS) attached can be securely installed (because the installation angle can be controlled). This valve stem puller is excellent (works great). I saved money because the dealership wouldn't charge for installing valve stems and tire pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS)…
