Works! Simple and pleasant sound. I find that older versions have more power compared to newer versions. So far, so good.

I used this on my 1990 Grand Wagoneer and loved it. It was very easy to install and connect. I really like the sound customization feature that makes it easy to customize your system. I also like how it looks in the dashboard. It doesn't stand out or look out of place. This is a great choice for classic cars.

fit and finish are pleasant. looked great in my jeep. Unfortunately I am sending it back as it will not stream music via Bluetooth from my Android device (Samsung Note 5). I installed the Clarion software update released on 08/08/18. still won't work. It seems to me that Clarion is a snob with iPhones.

Bad. The first one arrived and worked for about 5 minutes, after which the sound in the right speaker stopped working. The second of the same model worked over the weekend and now there is no sound from the speakers. It seems these radios don't offer very good moisture protection. Circuit boards do not have a fully conformal coating like other products.

The Clarion M508 is in my boat, which is about 36 feet long. I can stand way back and bluetooth still works! Outputs so I can connect my 6 speakers and subwoofer to a 5 channel amp and have full control over them. This is a small detail (1st world issues) Overall this is a great radio!

Upgrade. Bought June 18th. Now May 2020. Corona virus and such. Stopped working two trips ago, checked all fuses, everything switches. He pulled out the console and found that the circuit board had melted. It had a built-in glass fuse and additional fuses on the switches. I used these Klarons to denote quality, apparently that's no longer the case. I think I'll put the boss back on board. At least they cost less than $50. First I bought it for the car. Being a marine radio, some of the characteristics that make it ideal for marine use make it a poor choice for a car. I can't blame Clarion for this as I obviously use it for other purposes. Unfortunately all DIN radios on the market look like transformers except this one.
