CLARKS Complete Cutting Board Care Review

I bought this set to protect my handmade cheese board and cutting board. It is very easy to work with, smells good and protects the wood.

Dispatched and delivered quickly, no spills, all items come with instructions and smell great. It just arrived so I'm happy to use it and then I can update my review.

The best soap, oil and wax I have ever used on a cutting board! I have a 10ft Butcher Bloch Island and use it religiously. The oil absorbs well and even cares perfectly.

At first I was impressed by the quality. Rashi smell was very pleasant. I followed the directions with soap and a scrubber. The scrubber lifted the ends of the board, making it very rough. Added oil didn't help. I had to return this cutting board. This board is made from Brazilian Walnut, Purple Heart and White Oak. Not a cheap board. After sanding and using another product, the panel is like new again. This board is brand new, handcrafted by me. I threw the thing away. Please investigate.

I ordered Clark's set and processed it several times over the course of several days and now the cutting board is a nice dark color and is smooth and waterproof so I can use it for anything. DO NOT USE THE BLACK BRUSH! I've included photos of one of my cutting boards to show what I mean in the title. Sponges/brushes for applying the products are included in the package. The black sponge for applying oil is TERRIBLE. When I saw it for the first time I was stunned! It's the perfect size and feels comfortable in the hand. Updated. Have to lower it from 3 stars to 1 as I practically used an entire bottle of soap to get the smell off my cutting board and it didn't even help a bit. Keep in mind my cutting board is no more than 6 months old so this is not acceptable. Also, based on the original reviews, I bought the set as a gift and am now confused. SORRY THAT DOESN'T WORK. I have several wooden cutting boards and also a very large baking board. I have had a pasta board for over 10 years but have had a hard time keeping it clean. No one ever told me a tree needed this kind of care. I was a little hesitant, the price seemed a bit high to me but the quality of the tools supplied and the quantity of product required make this a very affordable and reasonable price. I really needed a lot of butter for the big baking board as it's probably never been done with anything
