Cool drill. for power tool parts and accessories

This thing is fierce! It is durable and the screw tip helps you guide and stay stable when drilling. I've used it to drill through 1" solid oak panels to run cable paths on a wired entertainment system and had no problems.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Saved money, bought blade bits

Used but for drilling holes in a 4x4 machined post. Once you know how much pressure to put on the bit, you're good to go. The screw head is a nuisance in my opinion and not worth the extra money. He grabs the tree and pulls, but so fast that he either stops the drill or breaks his wrist. Save money and frustration and use paddle bits.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later

Works too well, best in auger bits

Well, they're not kidding. That thing gnaws through wood. That being said, the torque is insane when it bites. I was trying to cut through some of the joists at an awkward angle and the drill kept popping out of my hand. Operator error of course, but I've tried different drill settings and tried to hold on, but I'm not kidding. This torque is intense and you should be prepared for it. I ended up having to buy a separate nozzle. Another thing to keep in mind is that once you start a hole, you…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes
