For the second time three colored pencils in a row broke when I "sharpened" them. Had to get rid of it as the blade was so bad.

Very handy, always at hand. I'm a crossword fanatic, so I always carry pens with me. Using these sharpeners is easier than buying and installing large "industrial size" sharpeners. I also carry one in the car.

I don't care how much I pay for an item. If something doesn't last more than a year, I don't care what it is, I consider it a bad buy. The sharpener stopped sharpening 6 months after purchase. I made no attempt to repair it, but was soon given up after failing to sharpen the second pencil.

Received this and was soooo disappointed. What junk. I could buy something similar at the dollar store. I can't send it back because it would be too hard for me to get it out, so you guys just keep the money; However, I will tell all my friends about it.

later I can't believe I paid two dollars plus shipping for this little cheap plastic sharpener. It's on my desk and unusable. I teach as a volunteer at an elementary school in the Eastern Caribbean and was hoping the students could use this during class. He hardly sharpened his pencils. The blade instantly dulled. One of my bad buys.
