Good strong metal, this isn't a crappy air filter. the ending was great. looks great on my engine. My only complaint is that there was a small dent on the edge of the upper lip, which probably happened when someone dropped it. If it didn't have the kink and it didn't have that much money I would give it 5 stars.

I smoked my '84 Chevy. On the carburetor sat well. I'm not entirely sure it will fit before the smoke is removed. With an EGR valve and a bunch of vacuum hoses everywhere. The bolt holding it to the carb was a bit long and I had to cut off about a quarter of an inch so it could be tightened.

Looks great with a black and red Chevy and a bow tie and matches my color scheme. The bolt had to be tailored for my application, which is to be expected as it is designed for many applications. I immediately noticed the difference in airflow compared to the standard closed filter unit. To do this, buy a Spectra High Air Flow filter.
