Does a fantastic job!

This bit is a champion and cuts perfectly. I know that it's generally less safe to cut a depth greater than 1/8" at a time, especially with a 1/4" shank, but this guy cut 1/4" hard maple, and I have literally NO resistance..Will buy again if needed.

This bit is useful for leveling boards

I bought a DeWalt 611 router bit and used it to level some rough maple, cherry and walnut boards. It worked so well that I bought more. I've flattened about 72 square feet of wood panels so far with no problems and I'm still going strong.

Most people will probably buy this particular router bit to use with a router to plan a large piece of wood. I think it will fit for that. Personally, instead of an expensive solution with a special bit and a set of ball bearings, I use its half-inch relative. This bit in my router table with its fence can replace the sets that offer these same folds. This works very well. It is save. He is flexible. This particular bit is not used yet as I bought it as a backup in case I have problems with the
